Thanks to its convenient location in the Tirolean Oberland Region, the Ötztal valley makes a truly unique paradise for climbers - featuring more than 600 routes for all ability levels. Over the last years new hooks have been installed in all climbing gardens. 
The via ferratas are perfectly laid out and suitable also for families as they offer alternative walking and hiking possibilities amid Ötztal's breathtaking rock faces. All those with a good head for heights should try a taster tour at the Stuibenfall via ferrata in Umhausen. The whole route is secured by a steel rope and iron clamps.
